Selecting Your Number of Shares and Par Value

Please read this first before selecting your number of shares and par value:

You will need to indicate the number of shares of stock the corporation is authorized to issue. Stock represents ownership in the corporation.

You will also need to select the "par" value of the company's stock. Par value is the minimum amount for which a share of stock can be traded or sold.  Par value does not represent the share's actual market price.

Our standard stock authorization is 1,000 shares at no par value, which qualifies the corporation to pay the minimum franchise tax, but you may indicate your preference below.

If you choose to authorize more than 5,000 shares, please be advised that additional filing fees and tax liability may apply. We will contact you if additional fees are required.  Please see https://corp.delaware.gov/frtaxcalc.shtml for more information about the State of Delaware’s methods for calculating franchise tax liabilities.
